Chai-Spiced Snowman Hot Chocolate
Serves 2
2 cups Real© Coco Organic Coconut Milk
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
4 slices fresh ginger
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. ground cardamom or 4 cracked cardamom pods
Pinch of black pepper
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
4 tbsp. cocoa powder
Frothed creamer
For snowman topping: vegan marshmallows, chocolate chips, carrot, and pretzels
Whisk together all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat, until cocoa and spices are well combined. Bring to a gentle simmer, and continue to whisk occasionally. Turn off heat and let spices infuse for 5 minutes; strain. Reheat just before serving.
Assemble marshmallow snowmen using pretzels, carrot, and chocolate chips to decorate.
Pour chai hot chocolate into mugs, top with creamer, and snowman.
